Yes, drop-off is about mid-day, or at least it was for us, then you ride the next morning. Pretty good turn-around if you ask me.
I’m guessing at 68 you have the luxury of time on your side to be able to go on your own steam… 
We don’t have that luxury. And as @Big_Red_S says… it’s a different type of adventure. We met some great people who were also using the service, which we wouldn’t have done had we rode.
