Was that before or after the mirror was removed?
Perhaps it’s just me, but I can’t see the cabbie’s mistake.
Nope…you cannot really see it on the video.
One of the three cyclists he passed as he straddled the bus lane was waving his fist as he went past, (not in shot, but what I had seen). When he accelerated, a big cloud of diesel smoke virtually obscures the remaining cyclist who was directly alongside the cab when he swerved.

I am new to this forum however I have been riding bikes in and around London for over 40 years, so I do have a little bit of experience.
What is the point in vandalising someones mirror because they have made a misjudgement or mistake in road positioning? It serves no purpose other than to thoroughly pi$$ off the other road user who will then judge all other bikers in same vein ie a brainless moron.
Surely it is better to stay calm call him a ****** if need be and try to avoid that situation in the future.
Dont forget that even if we have to slow down to avoid a confrontation we will still pass them all at the next set of red lights and probably cut up the taxi at the front of the queue in the process, but we will do it safely and without raising any blood pressure or seeing red mists.
perhaps my next post will be more jovial
