Just read that Ollie Bridewell has died today after a crash at Mallory. My thoughts are with his friends and family. Terrible news, apparently came off really hard at the esses. A sobering thought after doing my first trackday yesterday

Such a sad loss of one of our young up and coming talents. At the age of 21 he had much to look forward to.
My thoughts are with his friends and family, not to mention the other riders and marshalls that still have a show to put on this weekend with this sad news in the back of their minds.
How long is it going to be before they realise that Superbikes are getting too fast for these small tracks with little or no run off area?
I hate to say it but IMO the likes of Oulton, Knockhill, Cadwell and Mallory’s days are numbered in BSB
