This maybe contoversal, and I am sad for any loss of life. I saw it, the biker tried to squeeze a gap like a surfer on a tube and misjudged it. It’s very sad, no doubt someone was waiting for a person that never arrived (better late than never).

Saw the pictures on the BBC yesterday.

I get annoyed with cars & lorries driving in the middle of the Fing road, I wish they would drive a little more to the left. When I drive the girlfriends car, I always drive a little to the left, just so anyone in a hurry can overtake. I’m sure, if the bus driver was driving a little more to the left, the biker would be still alive & you also have to realise that Whitehall has a lot wider roads than the rest of London.

I’m just sad for the bus driver, who has to live with this incident & especially sad for the poor biker that died.

I can’t wait for the day when cars & lorries are driven by all seeing, all aware computers ( Minority Reports & I, Robot).

We need to be aware, breath take a step back and think, think bike, think right.

Did you see the pictures, how do you think the bike ended up on the reservation?

cuss me down, say what you want, I am sorry for the loss of life, we are not invinsable and I have not survived 3 years despatching and a further 6 years riding for a living (5 of those under some serious time pressure) without learning some lessons. Learn lessons!!!.

I don’t want to offend anybody and if anyone knew the rider my heart felt sympathy goes out to you.

Be aware, don’t take unnecessary risks, whoever it is can wait a minute and we can all come home and tell what a wonderful day we’ve had on our bikes.

I second that movement, very well written don’t see how anyone can take offence to this…Well said RIP to the rider.And a speedy recovery for the bus driver I think in this case
