Riding Season 2009....What are you most looking forward to?

Right…

Spring is nearly here again…the bike has been out once so far this riding season…I’ve spent all winter healing from surgery…and I’m chomping the bit to begin riding every day again. I LOVE having the bike out…running errands…pounding around the Flint Hills…anywhere…anytime…however, I particularly like road trips.

Last year, I took several…out into the Gypsum Hills of western Kansas…and southeast…into the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma…this year, I’m looking forward to riding the Pig Trail…in the Ozark Mountains in northwest Arkansas.

What do you lot have in store for the upcoming riding season?

Trip to France in May and Italy in August plus lots of rideouts with some jolly fine people from here, life doesnt get any better

I’m looking forward to getting my Fighter on the road, plenty of mid-week rideouts and regular meetings of The Battenburg Club:D

Not forgetting the LB events planned for this season.

Amongst other things I’m looking forward to not having to wear a balaclava, heated gloves etc etc. on the early morning commute.

I cant wait for WSB to start. Planning on getting out the north west for road racing in May and a few nice weekends out in France/Dam etc. 09 might be a nice year if its good weather, my broken ol bones hate the cold :frowning:

Hi there KSG - glad to hear you have healed up OK after your surgery  whatever you do mate, post up yer pics, always a pleasure to see em!

Me - wanna get my GSXR on the road and track as much as possible, work my way up to running with the guys in the fast groups and rideouts with the LB lot

Plenty of ideas but low on petrol tokens. Priority this season is find some work to pay for track time & training. Also, still entertaining the idea of 50cc or MZ racing but that’ll have to wait for the moment.

New bike the week after next

Thanks, Elad…it sucked…but it’s behind me now and it’s time to move on.You can count on the pics…I enjoy looking at the pics from all the track days and ride outs you guys do…exchanging a few from the part of the world I live in seems like fair play. What year/size is your GSX-R? I had a 2004 750…loved that bike.
