just came out of hospital after spending 8 days with 5 brocken ribs and a punctured lung
got taken out by a cage driver on saturday the 19th
bikes scrap and i dont wanna ride again
i feel lucky to be alive

Nightmare. Not surprising you feel like that. Sounds like a big smash and most important thing is you managed to walk away from it. I know several people who have given up biking after a big accident and there’s no shame in it. Ultimately it’s a risk/reward calculation and a personal thing…hope you mend fully and glad you are still here.

Gutted for you fella truly glad you are able to post after such a accident im sure that would make me weigh up the pro’s an cons being a biker is a way of life for most of us thats forsure but more an more its getting harder to even enjoy a good ride without being nicked or taken out by some twat whatever you decide in the future best of luck to you .
