Rider down - Friday 17th - Knightsbridge

Well just got back from a fab week of skiing to discover a good friend of mine had a tragic accident on Friday night somewhere near Harrods.

As no one this end seems to know anything about it, I was wondering whether any of you guys passed it or heard anything about it on other forums? It would help make sense for us grieving.

Thanks

Sorry to hear this, deepest sympathies go out.

I have heard nothing, but, if I do I shall see what I can come up with.

Oh no.

Really sorry to hear. Deepest sympathy.

Love"n"Luck from Me and Mine to You and Yours.

Barro

Thanks guys. It is really my friend’s new wife who needs the sympothies, so I will pass them on.

I was wondering whether any of the Black Rats here might know anything?

Crikey.

sorry for ya mate, and all concerned.

Deepest sympathies to all concerned!

sorry to hear of this. sympathies…

PM’d you mate.

Bad luck Mo, sorry to hear it. Haven’t heard anything.

Thanks guys.

He’s in a coma at the moment and in a very bad way. He’s being ventilated so one must assume that he can’t breath for himself, which I guess bad.

A lesson to us all, don’t wear open faced helmets!

Sorry to hear.

Any idea how the accident happened?

It’s always sickening to hear… I wish who ever is involved a quick recovery…

sorry to hear the bad news mate…my heart goes out to the familly…

crossing my fingers for him mate.

smiled.

Hopwfully he will make a full recovery…fingers crossed for him

I’m sorry to hear about your friend, Matt! I hope it’s not as serious as it sounds, and he’ll pull through and make a full recovery. Often people with head injuries of any type are kept in a medical coma to help the recovery process. This will mean them being on ventilation.

All the best to your pal and his family MM for a full and speedy recov.

sorry MM, buckets of best wishes to you all.

I pray he makes it through okay

I thought this was about a fatal accident ?

Eh? Matt’s just posted an update, and his mate is out of intensive care, with “no external injuries, other than a broken cheek.” He did hit his head on the road, but hopefully there will be no lasting damage.
