Have you heard about the movie TT3D about the race on the Isle of Man? If not check out the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vn1YB7fk8eg. It actually has pretty good reviews!
So here is the deal:
I am thinking of going with some other bikers to a town not too far from London (Oxford most probably but it’s open to suggestions…) in order to watch that movie. Considering that I am not really experienced in the cornering system and so on, plus I am French so I get lost easily :P, I would be more than happy if anyone wanted to take the lead and organise the ride…I will deal with the cinema
I thought it was a good idea to suggest that ride out to all of you guys as I have just asked my non-bikers friends as well as my GF if they wanted to go and watch that movie with me…their answer was something like: “a motorbike movie ah ah…get lost!”
Not seeing TT3D because it is a bike movie is like not watching Touching the Void because you are not interested in climbing mountains. There is very little about bikes in it. It is about the characters, it is about the event and the passion. The film stands on its own legs and the good reviews in the papers are written by non-bikers. Personally I found it a better movie because of the lack of concentration on the bikes and the technicalities of the racing.
Raphael bonsoir comment allez-vous …I am definitely going to see this movie in the next week or so but not sure about over the weekend… I’ll keep an eye on this post to see what happens… vous rattraper plus tard
The weather will be good, period. Is there anyone on your side that would come along? So far we are about 4 or 5 I believe, it’s ok but we could do better though…
