Revenge will be mine

10am meeting with the suited crooks / bank for a financial review…no doubt they will ask me lots of details so will dangle the carrot of a soon to be overseas employee with a fair salary (compared to my teaching peanuts) - a need for a reliable savings plan / pension plan / insurance etc.

Think I might even get them to fill in the forms before reminding them of the money the bunch of robbing, theiving, two faced, good for nothing bastards stole from me last year (£1.75 charge every time I put 10 Euros petrol in my bike which they refused to refund)

Why they invited me in - given that I have had zero activity on my current account in 10 months and have moved my ISAs is beyond me. Still an opportunity not to be missed

Let em have it Nick

good luck with screwing as much as you can out of em

You have a bank with people who you can actually meet and who may even be able to make decisions? Crikey!

I’m pretty sure they have eliminated human staff altogether at my bank, save for the one person who answers the phone . . . eventually . . . only to inevitably to tell me that whatever it is I want or need, the “system won’t allow that”.

I really, really hate banks.

Me too! One account now closed

Having done the closure paperwork…dozy cow even said “When you come back, you can come and see us again to discuss your investment needs” …Eh, no love, there’s more chance of me frying my own balls for breakfast :w00t:

Does it depend who you bank with because I have my own personal manager and I’m not even loaded!

Before you go make notes, good notes in fact. Everytime I’ve had a boloxing from a client they had blatantly made notes so they could emphasise every minor detail.

If we made notes, you would be history. So much promise, so little fulfilment.

Bit like rushing Russian girls.:stuck_out_tongue:

All you get is carpet rash and a samovar on yer head.

I bank with HSBC and when I had my bike accident 10 years ago, I phoned up the insurance company to activate my loan payment protection (loan was with HSBC) and within 10 minutes of calling their central line, the bank manager from my local branch was on the phone to me offering an interest free 5k overdraft to get me through my accident period with a “pay it back when you can” offer.

I was very impressed and will always bank with them now.

Apparently (from something I read a few weeks back) a lot of bankers are presently suffering from depression/paranoia as they are convinced everybody hates them.

Any suggestions why that might be?

If you see a nice pen, just pick it up and pocket it.

We all own the banks now, tell them DP said you could have it.
