Revenge is best served on camera

There is some rather adult language, so you’ve been warned, but nevertheless.

whoop whoop da police

Ok so there was an incident but talk about looking for trouble. Could have easily left him behind. Another helmet cam warrior?

+1^^^^^^

I think that a lot of “dangerous” behaviour was imagined…

And yet afterwards we will hear “why nothing is done with … ?”. It is because everyone is “helmet cam warrior”.

I can put money on it that if something like that would happend to you guys you would went ballistic here and there.

R

ps. amended to put in still reasonably nice way, my view about behaviour: “Is not happend to me, so who cares”

Tobi you warned us about the adult language but you didn’t say it would be all high-pitched and plummy!

Surprised they didn’t challenge each-other to a duel.

Bit of a waste of police time if you ask me…

…and another thing…biker kicks it all off by cruising to the front of the queue and stopping ahead of the advance line quote “errm” unquote…the cager (having a bad day remember…) absent-mindedly follows him thinking if that Harley is riding in the outside lane then so can he…then realising his mistake he politely toots his horn to request the Harley shift over a bit so he isn’t run into by the oncoming traffic when the lights change. Instead of doing this Harley hears horn and thinks ‘aggressive’ and starts swearing and gesticulating followed by some 3mph tailgating followed by some more swearing and rounded off with a daring attempted undertake on a left hand corner in gridlocked traffic…ummm…

…OMG…
I will blame late hour when your were writing this. ^^^^

So, are you waiting in traffic instead of filtering LiM?

R

amazing… i thought Bikers would have been a bit concerned, but in True “I really do NOT get people” style this is being taken comepletely differently to how I would have read it.

My take:
Biker is obnoxious but right about the wrong lane. Rude, but right.
Driver drives dangerously, then has road rage moment. Rude, and illegal
Bike responds rudely Rude, but again harmless
driver continues to drive dangerously and cause an obstruction. Dangerous and illegal
Biker antagonises him but does no criminal damage or harm. Rude and stupid, let it go.
Driver filters. Finds officer and reports a dangerous cager. Petty maybe, but I would too…

Now I know people think I’m a the Site Misery and out of touch, but I didn’t think many bikers would be siding with “lose my rag posh bloke” as much as you are…

This life gets weirder and weirder

cager was a C*** and the Harley rider was a knob, but fair play to him, I might have reacted in a stronger fashion, but probably wouldn’t have pointed out the mistake that led to all the aggro in the first place, shite, I’d never get to work in the morning if I started that lark,

but if he had still done that overtake on the junction I think I’d have been off my bike and in his face the moment he stopped.

If the car driver had “made a mistake” by thinking it was 2-way, he should have tucked in behind the Harley, not try to outgun him off the lights.
Then to inflame the situation, he jabs on his brakes, rather than admitting his mistake.
Trouble with situations like this is the biker has the disadvantage of being venerable, compared to the heavier car. The car driver clearly has the red mist down. You can tell as soon as he starts reacting.
Knowing when or rather WHO to start a road rage argument with depends on how involved or much agro you want yourself.
I’d always rather the satisfaction of a few choice words & then leave the pr1ck to sit in his traffic jam.

Always filtering me.

This is a classic case of cause and effect. That road is intentionally ‘de-cluttered’ and road markings are unusual so could easily confuse someone having a bad day.
First mistake was by the biker. Okay so he might have filtered to the front and realised too late that he would have to stop beyond the stop line but he shouldn’t really have been there. Yes, his initial reaction to seeing the car was to make some hand movements that he thought told the driver it wasn’t a one way but to the driver a swinging arm might have looked more like waving him through. Clearly the driver was in two minds about what the bike was going to do. If I’d been on that bike I would have probably assumed the car was a plain-clothed cop and got further over to the left to show I was going to let him through. The biker had already identified to himself that the cager was not behaving normally so why did he cruise off from the lights and risk getting rear-ended? If anything the biker should have gunned it to make sure he got across the junction before the car did.

The cager was wrong to slam the anchors on after the junction but he had already cut up the biker and narrowly missed a head-on with the oncoming car and to his mind that was due to the biker not giving him space to put right his own mistake…and it all escalated from there.

Put it this way- when the lights turned green the cager should have waited for someone in the queue to let him in but he might have thought that was what the biker was suggesting with his hand movements…just saying.

F*** me. The bike (though I think it was one of those cow-horned scooter type things) rider is 100% a bell-end. Driver made a mistake that was all, attempted to get back into the lane - and the rider took umbrage. He was never braking on purpose in front of him, he was attempting to avoid the lorry coming towards him and at the same time not squash the cyclists on his left.
Not a big deal at all but the twattery of the rider meant it became much bigger. He’s the one calling another person a c***, that’s always going to inflame things. He’s the one chasing after the driver, never going to help. He’s the one who goes crying to the Policeman, who clearly can’t be bothered.

Mate, if you read this forum - learn to chill the f*** out.

they have turned that bit of road into a complete danger
A no markings
B turn a road used by lots of tourists looking wrong way into a slippery paved road

how that passed thru council , road safety is amazing
