I’ve been using Rider Support to sort out a claim for when I was hit at a set of traffic lights. The driver of the van decided not to stop for red lights like myself and rear ended me.
They accepted liability and then offered me £775 for my VFR750 1990. Now the bike was in great condition and I have just thrown quite a lot of money at it getting it in top condition. I refused this offer and Rider Support sent them a fax of a valuation from Glasses.
Had a reply yesterday, offer upped to £1200, which I’ve taken. Much more reasonable and I can sort things out properly with that sum of money! Well pleased. Now waiting on the injuries side of the claim. Still waiting for my Physio to start as my back is very sore. Time will tell.
