I’m going to mend the cracks in my nose fairing then respray it to cover up the seams.
The respray only need to be a light one over the top but I’ll need to do it all to make sure it’s even, what would be best to rub it down and key it?
Normal sand paper 360 grit is best for the job

don’t think I have a steady enough hand to melt them properly so was just going to glue them back together with epoxy

ah. arse.
You could glue it with something like plastex. Then melt it together with a soldering iron. Glue in some reinforcment behind the crack - wire hanger or some such. Then make it good, sand and respray it… alternatively … take it to Shivs.
or do like I’ve done n trawl fleabay for new nosecone jobs a good un 
just have to respray tank n seat cowl hopefully that wont cost a lot :)
