Removing standard decals??

After you heat up th decal with the hairdryer, it will peel off but theres always crap left, Light fluid will remove the rest, Works in the sign writing trade.
DONT over heat the paint, if it gets to hot the paint does go soft, new paints are crap these days (because there water based).

Worked on the hornet, RR , k7, & k8

i like the mayo idea  you have to lick it off, after, Tiggi

Heatgun. Many years ago I used to work in the car painting business, and stickers/go faster stripes were removed this way every time even on plastics. You’ll be there for ages with a hairdrier. But obviously take it easy and keep at a distance. You’ll be able to tell when the decal goes soft enough. If the decals are under the clearcoat, then you’re fooked. The top coat of paint will have to be removed, and then redone. :ermm:

HAHAHAHA awsome pic

Wouldn’t want to waste the mayo now, could wipe it off with a slice of bread and make a sarnie :stuck_out_tongue:

I really hope they aren’t under a clearcoat, can’t be bothered to go out and look now though, it’s raining!!

Pretty sure they aren’t, would’nt of come of as easy as they did:)
