Removing a Small Dent from an Exhaust...

I managed to pick up an approx 1" parking dent on one of my Akra’s the other day. :pinch:

Can anyone recommend a suitable dent removal tool please? Ta

remove pipe, fill with water, seal both ends and place in freezer for 8 hours.

Tried and tested! Twice :w00t:

Okay thanks. Yes read about this somewhere- problem is I don’t have a freezer big enough for an exhaust can.

Would a dent pulling kit like a ‘King Ding’ type thing work- seen them on Amazon for about a tenner?

My experience they are useless. Get what you pay for.

Has anyone you know, neighbours got a freezer? Local Iceland lol.

Cover the dent with an exhaust hanger and make out it’s a support!

lol Iceland nice idea do you think they’d notice?

Why not try your luck and go down there and speak to the manager, might be able to stick it in a freezer out back!

lol. Failing that, find a friend that has a freezer at work or start knocking on neighbours doors!

would compressed air work (like keyboard cleaners)

Thanks Pan I’ll try it…but afraid this might only work for big dents.

Just go with the “bruised” look.

The way you ride it’s only a matter of time when a small dink is going to look like a minor irritation.

Genius!!!

Do you reckon it will work on my Audi? :w00t::w00t::w00t: Got a bit of a ding in the boot the other week…

Going to need a big freezer to find out.

Strangely enough in my mind it is already heading towards the scrapheap of small dinks littering my existence. You’re right…absolutely no point wasting time at the weekend with an ice cube and hairdryer but you know what I’ll prob still give it a try anyway.

Nice wordsmithing.

Do you mind if I steal that for re use at some point in the future?

Dunno about a King Ding. But Anne summers sell a King Dong. It might fit up the hole and allow you to press it out. LOL
