Reminder - Careful At The Ace

Sunday afternoon some scum stole the fuel cap off my bike while it was in the Ace car park. It’s absurd and pointless because they only took the top part not the part that’s actually fitted to the bike. It will be of no use to anybody, pointless theiving.

It’s easy to assume it’s safe there as everybody there are bikers etc but it’s no the case :frowning:

sorry to see that sherry

thieving scum

I generally leave my stuff laying about because i think it’s safe, I’ll be extra careful from now on :w00t:

Sorry to see you’ve become a victim of the thieving low life scum

baaarrstards! im pissed off for you sheerie! I remember reading a post last year when i first joined about someone having there lid nicked! now I tend to always keep one eye on my lid! (Especially when Adrians about :P). seriously though not everyone there are as cool as us kids at LB  in fact there theiving jipseys by the sound of it

What is the point? I mean, honestly, a fuel cap? Thats a tit thinking they are funny I think, more so than a real thief… either way, its **** and uncalled for…

Not good at all ,but glad i read this cos me and the girls are always leaving our lids just about anywhere at the ace and assuming they are safe …wrong.

Sorry to hear that Sherrie :frowning:

Sorry to hear that Sherrie :frowning:CCTV wouldn’t go a miss there me thinks [/quote] Errrrrm…Not entirely sure that would be a good idea…:w00t:

There is cctv but it’s pointing at the gate

We were there a couple of weeks ago when troublesome teenagers parked cars across the road and played c**p music as loud as they could just to annoy people. A couple of “almost stand-offs” ensued and it could have turned nasty if a number of people had joined in.

Nicking petrol caps seems like the sort of petty annoyance that this crowd might have enjoyed - were they there then?

I don’t see the problem :ermm:

Sherrie that’s crap…Sorry to hear :frowning:

Sorry to hear that Sherrie, some clowns will nick anything these days, I’ve had tyre dust caps go missing in the past, what’s the bl00dy point?!?

Grim, I think Whistler may be referring to some of the less than legal activities that occur in the car park, namley the stunting, wouldn’t necessarily be good to capture all that on CCTV for evidence I guess?!? :ermm:

Sorry to hear that Sherrie, of all places you would have thought the Ace would be the last place that would happen.

Sorry to hear that some annoying little **** decided to be be a thieving little **** as well. It sucks, and I understand the frustration, what is the point as it is of no use to any one else. The only thing that comes to mind is that it is a “trophy” from an R1. But still pointless.

As it is a private car park there is nothing to stop people stunting in there. As for any other “less than legal activities” (whatever they maybe), then people will do it at there own risk.

Personally I hate CCTV, but if people cannot be trusted to leave others property alone then I would be fine with the extra coverage.

I have to say I haven’t even been to the Ace yet…I have watched loeads of stuff on Youtube and none of it was filmed in the car park but on the road with passing traffic. This can hardly be said to be at “ones own risk” can it?. Not saying anything against the guys doing it but I’m sure they were happy without CCTV… i made the remark in a light-hearted way in any case;)

Why you accuse them as a suspects? How do you know they did it? Any particullar evidence?

If not then stop posting this crap in here. I can’t believe non of our moderators reacted to this. :ermm:

BTW. Sorry to hear about your loss Sherrie. Ace Cafe seems to be a risky place to park our bikes.:frowning:
