Several times I’ve proffered the idea that we should try to get our wheels on Redbridge Cycling Centre. What would we have to lose to pitch summit to the local council.
Do a proper professional presentation.Organise a demo (by professional teams?).A money maker for them by hiring the track.We could offset any environmental issues planting bat/owl nesting boxes and putting up trees

how wide is the track? would you need medics and marshals?

Yes indeed, they centre would get the right a$$ if we rutted too much of it though… I hate off road!

Went down to Lydd at the weekend to watch some of the Southern Supermoto. Bit of a trek but it was a laugh, would be nice to have somewhere to do more SM track days nearer London though.
how long did it take u to get there nick? I would have thought the 550 would be wayyyy to fast for most supermoto tracks! Especially lydd raceway, it would be wicked on Lydden hill though im gona go there in a month or so
I drove down there in a car mate cos someone’s nicked my SXV lol. Only takes about an hour and a half for me but I’m on the south east side of London already so closer than you mate.
Let me know when you go to Lydden Hill mate cos I might come and have a look - probably won’t have leathers by then but I’m well up for riding down there (if I’ve got my new bike by then!) and having a look

Ok not sure when ill be going but look on the lydden hill website and they have one trackday a month! Ill let u guys know when im gona book it! Nick you can hire leathers at the club msv trackday for 40 quid! Or you could pick up a set on ebay! I got an ixs supermotard suit brand new for 200 from j&s in new malden and itseems more than half decent but i dont think they make em anymore!
