What an evil laugh
HAHAHAHAHAAAAA
You’re laugh makes it!!!
It was a revenge laughter. I keep near missing the shites when they jump lights.
Quote system on this forum is borked!
That is a brilliant laugh!
Not sure, but do dog units have the ability to hand out traffic tickets?
Outside Browns (Hackney Road/Shoreditch for those pretending not to know) I saw about a dozen coppers/PCSO’s nicking bikes for doign this about two weeks ago. It was perfect timing coz the day before I’d nearly taken two of the feckers out.
Did you realise how much danger you were in when you came up behind the Addison Lee Galaxy ?
Saw one of these in the city once. Marked police on a motorcycle. Cyclist just shot straight through and was subsequently pulled. If run red lights on a motorcycle you get in all kinds of trouble. Cyclists should be no different.
I’ve never had the inclination to find out - I just treat them like any other Police vehicle.
I did similar to some marked vehicle or another on the M1 and got ridiculed for slowing down as apparently “they’ve got no powers to give you a ticket” …can’t remember what it said on the back
From what I understand they can if you have committed an offence. They can’t simply tug you to have a chat. That’s Traffic.
Oh brilliant - there is justice for the menice of bicyclists that think the law doesn’t apply the them.
Probably a bit different for speeding as they need to prove you’re speeding and a dog van wouldn’t have the equipment. Red light jumping is a bit more black and white (or red & green if you prefer).
I think some kind of ‘rider improvement course’ for red light jumping cyclists would be good, like the speed awareness course that drivers get offered instead of points. Make 'em pay £150 to sit a room for a day, being told they ride like a knob.
haha sucker,i hate cyclists who do this they deserve to be run over when they pull a stunt like this
We’ve all got the same powers irrespective of role, the only difference is Motorway hard shoulders are dangerous places and it would be frowned upon for Non Motorway units to start stopping people on them.
Any police officer in uniform can pull a vehicle over and issue a ticket, only pcso’s cant issues traffic tickets and plain clothed police officers in unmarked police vehicles cant issue traffic tickets nor can they make traffic related stops.
So if you jump a red light whilst swigging a can of Tennants Super in front of an unmarked car, he has to just let you go? That seems unlikely.
I seem to remember my dad having to do a course to be able to issue fixed penalty notices (although that will have been back in the early 90’s) so perhaps they’re different?

nope the unmarked unit will ask for a marked police vehicle to come stop your vehicle and the uniformed officers administer the breath test on behalf of the plain ckothed officers, and if you fail the plain clothed officers can arrest you for that offence .
Cyclists are what makes it interesting lol i love harrassing them makes the journey more fun! Kaos has witnessed how i treat the bad ones pmsl just run them off the road :Whistling:
