Recommended Yamaha service central London? (now George White has gone)

Last week I booked my FZ1 in for a service this Friday with
George White Superbikes on Whitechapel Rd.

I got called today, “Sorry we can’t service your bike, we’re being closed” !

George White have shut their smaller shops and are concentrating on
their Swindon branch.

Not much use to me in central London.

Where do people here recommend?

I used Infinity Motorcycles who seemed pretty good.
I noticed they left a little bit of copper grease on all the screws they dissembled during the service (probably a sign to show the job was done).
Cost me £215 for a minor 18k service on a Yamaha FZ6 S2 Fazer.
I dunno if that’s a good price but it was a lot better than the Metropolis quote.

That’s a shame, I liked the guys in the service department there.
But, I’m not really surprised. the sales guys were less than interested in selling anything it seemed.

If you don’t mind not using an official Yamaha dealer, I’d recommend Keith at MotoPsycho in Kings Cross.

He is a top chap and will definitely take good care of your bike.

Again if you do not mind it not being a Yamaha approved repair centre, SBK are pretty good off Commercial Road. I used to take my CBR there all the time and they always did a good job. They also open early and close later than the average garage.

Thanks for the ideas. Ideally I’m looking for somewhere
Kings Cross to Moorgate and near a tube station.

Infinity have a shop in Holburn but Servicing is in Clapham :frowning:

SBK are further east than Aldgate East :frowning:

MotoPsycho are Kings Cross which fits the bill

Also I’ve noticed this one on the web…

but have not had good experiences with Daytona, (in Ruislip Mannor),
anyone tried this lot in Kings Cross?

Checked a few quotes and it’s booked in at…

Cheers

Good choice! As I said Keith is a top bloke!

Tell him Joel said hello!

That all went very well… http://londonbikers.com/forums/FindPost862014.aspx
