power commander and exaust ordered should be arriving in the next few weeks. So I need someone to dial it all in correctly. Getting it fitted by Scorch. Can someone recommend a tuning company? I’ve seen the Yamaha place in high wycomb does it has anybody dealt with them before or can recommend somewhere closer to home (west London)?

2 reasons for not going with pdq.
They are £50 more expensive
They where bloody rude on the phone when I asked them how much it would cost stated 3 hours of dyno time £198… And then hung up!
I have used MSG as well and couldn’t recommend them enough. Great guys who know their stuff.
They will do a good job.
Ive had two bikes worked on by PDQ and I’m surprised they were abrupt on the phone. Their dyno guy is brilliant and very very experienced. They supply and fit the Power Commander and exhausts. Their suspension set ups are good too - as their guys are racers.
Larry the owner used to be chief mechanic for Spice Racing, the group C sportscar people, as well as Eddie Kidd’s crew chief and a racer in his own right.
That surprises me as I’ve used PDQ in the past and found them polite and helpful!
maybe I caught them on the wrong day or when they where in the middle of something. Regardless I was very happy with MSG
I can recommend Ken at Cooperized, also Dynotech in Tadley, they do all my race bikes.
If Changyammi caught them on a “wrong day” with their poor telephone manner to him, he could also catch them on a wrong day with a poor workmanship manner. Such behaviour makes me wary.
