Recommendation of a motorcycle accident legal beagle please

Met a chap as I was leaving an election party event late last night who noticed I was going home by motorbike - he then started to strip off (I don’t usually have this effect on men I assure you!). Long story short he was eager to show me his ‘war’ wounds - he has almost no muscle left at the top of one arm (and therefore very limited range of movement), the wrist on his other arm was broken and has not mended well after two years, again very limited range of movement. He then showed me his tummy and there was a nice red line right up the middle where he had an emergency splenectomy - for which he is now on lifelong medication.

After consoling him I said “I hope you got a great payout” (he’d explained a bit about the collisoon with the cage), to which he responded nothing yet, but working on it - it’s been over 2 years. Having read legal stuff on here before I know that this is not unusual. i asked if he was using a specialist in m/c accident cases and he said no, he was using a GMB union solicitor, who he made sound a bit crap. The numbers he has been quoted to expect are by no means small, but based on the impact this is having on his life, they didn’t sound enough. Would any of our qualified legal beagles in this area be prepared to have a quick chat with him, so he can get a 2nd opinion on whether his current lawyer is doing a good enough job, expecting a big enough payout? As far as I’m aware it is not unusual to swap law firms, if you don’t think you are getting good enough representation and as it is union dues funded, am I right to think he won’t end up being sent a bill if he does jump ship?

Thanks very much for any assistance.

Speak to T.C. on here. He could advise.

Andrew Dalton’s your man. He rides a crap bike but he knows his job.

Thanks Mark and Kev

I used Fentons last December when a girl t boned me and they got me a fair pay out for the discomfort I had after the accident. They did a real quick job but it was a pretty straight forward claim in which the other party accepted it was their fault.

+1 for White Dalton.

Is this person Portuguese?
