Recimend me some Indicators

I’m after some small but bright indicators for the drz (so they need to be able to go through a few hedges too).

Most of the LED ones seem to be shite, can anyone recommend me some that aren’t but don’t cost an arm and a leg.
Thanks

Rider Support Services 02082464900.  Say I recommended you.  I’ve used them about five times.

Aceman, I think you’re replying to the wrong thread.  lol

Bwaaaha ha ha.  When I saw the misspelling of recommend, I read the rest as solicitors.  I’m blaming Boris for that.

Ah woops, cheers anyway though

I know it’s not what you asked for, but I came across these when looking for the WR: http://www.clicknride.com.au/ basically quick-release indicators using an audio jack.

I’m planning on sticking flush-mount ones on the WR, though.

I’ve got similar to these on the front of my KTM http://amzn.to/2c5d3vk

Was looking at these for the rear http://amzn.to/2bSX5Gg

I’ve got the following sitting around at home… http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IMT0X4O and http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B019RW8D00 - You can have them both for the price of a Paella (£7.50) next time you’re at BM. If you’re interested that is.

I’d agree with the flush mount idea

“never smash your lights whilst Bush Bashing again” sold, but how big is the bush if you need lights…

Cheers guys, how bright are those flush mount ones, as I like the idea of people knowing where I’m going.

Also found some hand guards with built in indicators, so may give them a go on the front (zeta)

I’ll bring the ktm to BM and you can see them, mine are good.

Ah, cheers. I’m not there this week, but should be next week

Those removable indicators look good.

I would now always prefer bright LED indicators.  The Terrible Triumph had them and they were very bright.  My current toy has the standard indicators, and they are poor by comparison.  However, having non-LED indicators, or small ones, or flush ones that are less noticeable, seem to me to be a compromise to safety.

I have similar to these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4Pcs-E8-E-Mark-6-LED-Stalk-Motorcycle-Mini-Turn-Signal-Light-Blinker-Indicator/252167151433?_trksid=p2045573.c100506.m3226&_trkparms=aid%3D555014%26algo%3DPL.DEFAULT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20151005190705%26meid%3D5b0cb1c7a5bc4d49bc45d15bfd5b40e2%26pid%3D100506%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26

I’ve got no complaints. They really are tiny, but very bright. I bought some slightly better ones (the linked ones are cheap Chinese ones).

Swap the bulbs to LED's & you will need to add resistors

Or use a LED indicator flasher relay. That's what I did.

One thing to bear in mind with led lights is the angle they emit light at .
Looking at them direct straight line they may bright but then change the angle of viewing and they may not be visible …
So arguements sake
Three lane carriageway
Travelling in lane two
View from vehicle behind you in lane two… spot on …
View from vehicle in either lane three or one just to the rear of you … a very weak or not visible
View from a hgv either behind you or just to rear and side … nothing or very weak .
Triumphs upgrade leds are shite in bright sunshine at a distance of four car lengths away in straight line and worse side …( the wife has these fitted on the bike ) .
Also note that most standard indicators allow some side view to be visible for vehicles emerging from junctions to see your indicator !
