Rain

I was just riding back down the motorway today thinking ‘This bike lark is alright, despite the effort of getting all the kit on and braving the elements, and locks and chains and covers and lube, this is much better way of getting around- even in light rain’

Then the heavens opened somewhere in the roadworks and I spent the rest of the journey thinking ‘Where are my wipers! I cannot see! Heeeelp!’

Still, once everything dries out… ride on

:Dwelcome to the joys of not being a fair weather biker;)

probably had the worst ride on the SV ever just now…i need to stop using summer race gloves:w00t:

Just rode home from Islington. Got on the A12 at Hackney Wick, what a laugh that road is in the rain!
Jacket and trousers now hanging up making lovely puddles of water on the floor!!!

I enjoy it whatever the weather in in the snow and icy we had this week.

Likewise! More thanks go to Mr Thomas though as I was lovely and dry inside. Got cold feet though this weekend, need some thermal socks.

As for gloves… handily my dad gave me his old winter gloves this morning so they are sitting drying out while my nice Rukka ones are safe and dry

I was nice and dry inside too. Just running out of room to dry my gear ready for the morning!

I use my supermoto gloves all year round. I dont like winter gloves there too thick and dont give me enough feel.

well made it home from work last night…9mile run in the poxy drizzle/sleet/silt/hail/rain that was weather. 100% waterproof gloves = borrox! 100% waterproof padded double lined camo trousers = almost but not quite borrox…waterproof Akito jacket costing £40.00 offa ebay= well I thought I was soaked through ten minutes into my ride home but as it turns out I was just cold…double layer jacket was dripping water onto the bathroom floor yet I was dry as a bone neck down  even my phone which was inside my jacket pocket was dry…now have to catch the public transport rubbish till everything dries…

funny i was in my car driving in horizonal rain along the A102 all nice and dry and toasty with my music on thinking im glad to be an FWR…
