Blimey! Do those pipes have any kind of waranty with them as they are so expensive? That looks like a poorly made can to me!
I’ve tried calling Racefit, but it doesn’t look like they work on Fridays (which I fully support btw), so I’ve emailed them some photos and asked them to call me back. I’ll let you know what their response is.
Damn, that’s bad. I’ve not heard of any issues before with Racefits. Mine’s lasted well over the 18 months or so I’ve had it! No doubt they’ll replace it for you, they’re good as gold. Tell them you’re an LB member!
Well John at Racefit called me first thing this morning (they were in Cologne for the bike show over the weekend). What a nice guy and what superb customer service! He offered to make it like new, and if it didn’t look like new, he would replace it. He also said that if he does a repair instead of a replace, and it happens again he will take care of me. So I have the option to send it to him now and he will have it ready to be picked up at the NEC, or I drop it off there and he will have it back to me in a week. I can’t have asked for more than that.
Result mate thats what you call customer service
