I have an 08 R1 and i do like a track day 
Problem is my mirrors get in the way and spoil some otherwise fine photos!
I would remove them for track day use but they are the only thing that holds the screen inplace :crazy: and i wouldnt want that flying off!
Any one know where i could get some mirror blanks for the 08?

What about nuts and bolts? Do they come with them as the bolts on the mirrors are captive.
Also the dropdown selector on the website only goes to0 06, the 07 is different.
harris £40 for the pair with bolts ect. Busters ones are ****
07 to 08 r1 is the same so if listed for 07 then will fit 08.
Just for reference why are Buster’s ****?

actually there is a marginal diff on some of them. first set i had were a resin mould top with the bold set into it. they didn’t take as much tension/didn’t want to overtighten as it would pull on the plastic top (you could see the depression as the bolt pulled). as a result lost a bolt or two whilst owning them until i dropped the bike at cadwell when they promptly popped clean off (debateable whether that saved the top fairing more damage however but thats another story)the rizoma ones i replaced them with are proper sprayed metal jobbies and have much more quality feel to them. also dont have the naff logo’s most of the companies put on 'em. would recommend these for sure
I get your point JB:)But the ones I indicated are machined aluminium with an anodized finish, so I wall ask the question again… What makes them **** when they are 1/2 the price of Harris ones?
agreed, as long as they are sturdy you’re paying for looks. think the Rizoma ones were only 25 ish quid too as it happens. if the harris ones are really 40 notes i’d be looking elsewhere
