quite interested to know what happened, obviously not lube failure /overheating so must be sudden component failure due to …Stress/manufacturing fault ??..did a big end bolt shear first ? suppose its a bit difficult to tell now .
Would be interesting to see what the BE shells/journals are like .

Glad I bought a Suzuki again now, the 675 was on my short-list There’s only one man in all of existence that I know has broken a GSX-R engine, and that’s our very own Clinton.

Just saw an 05 r1 on ukbike.com for £1600…seems too good to be true though. I also saw a K1200S for £3000 which is super cheap and if I had the readies I’d snap that up ride it for 2 years and sell it for the same money.
