Incidently though, the nose on Admiralty Arch is actually nothing to do with Nelson, it is supposed to be in honour od the Duke of Wellington, who had a rather large conk! 
Apparently any soldiers who went through on horseback would rub the nose for good luck, hence the reason why it is at the height of 7ft (about waist level if on a cavalry horse)… 
I’m quite pleased to say that I actually knew quite a few of the random facts on there, and have been to quite a few as well!
