Question regarding NCB

I recently bought an R6 and switched over to a new insurer. Having previously had a few years NCB with another insurer, I have the certificate for that NCB.

What I wanted to know is if after a year or more with my current insurer I decide to leave them, will they provide me with a NCB certificate which only accounts for my time insured with them or also takes into account my previous NCB?

In the end all I want to know is does everyone have only one NCB certificate or loads.

your renewal quote from the new company will show the total number of years NCB you’ve amassed, not just theirs.

Your current company will show all the years on their NCB certificate as long as they were protected. Some companies will not accept a renewal quote as proof of NCB. Good luck.
