I’m looking to install some sort of desktop software for my newly purchased htc desire but I cannot find any, can anyone point me in the right direction.
What are you trying to get from the desktop software?
The storage should just mount when you connect the USB cable, just like a USB stick. Other than that, I’m not sure what there is to do.
If you use gmail etc, it’ll just sync with your account(s).
Documents To Go?
basically something like itunes for the iphone or blackberry desktop manager for the blackberrys something like that
HTC does a sync application which is a free download and syncs with Exchange, Outlook Express etc and allows apps to be installed on the phone without using Android Market. However I got a regular error message (suggesting incomplete software) so it had to go.
You don’t need a music manager as you just put the files in folders on the SD card as far as I am aware.
