Just thought i share another good buy of gaybay
I needed to get some crash bungs for the new bike so i had good look round.
Found the cheapest ones and expected them to be knocked up from someones garage, instead to my surprise they were very well made.
They were well packaged and and came with well written instructions.
Well constructed with a aluminum compression spacer, it had a detailed embossed logo on the end of the bungs, they even put a rubber washer ring to hold all the pieces together during transport.
I have R&G ones and TBH almost half the price, these are a bargin.
Not bigging the seller up but just thought i share my views, then again i’m not sure how well they do in a crash, i dont really wanna find out
Ah yes but my insurance company (ebike) gave me a discount for using R&G crash bungs - I declared them about 2-3 months into a yearly policy and got £25 back…
Ah - very interesting. I had those on my radar and was at the point of “pulling the trigger” when I stumbled upon a shop that had a single set of R&G’s for £50 instead of the £85 everyone else wanted.
Keep us updated as to how you get when it comes to fitting etc as I might still pick up a pair of their front fork sliders (only £20 and look quite tidy - but probably pointless?)
