Just got a new pair of Gortex Puma Brutales to replace my well over the hill (and very smelly) Sidi Black Rains.
Usual story - I intended to get a pair of fairly cheep Hein Gerick boots, they didn’t have my size, liked the look of the pumas, tried them on, end up spending double what I meant to 
First impressions are very good. They are comfy but feel as though they would offer great protection. I’ve got quite skinny ankles and find most boots too loose, but these fit well.
