Public transport is evil

Public Transport Sucks. Official Statement. My hired taxi did not turn up yesterday at the airport, so we were reduced to taking the train/tube to get home.

Charing Cross/Waterloo were shut, so taxi to London Bridge from Waterloo Station after having walked from Leicester Square with two small children and lots of suitcases withe prolapsed disc playing up…

Then train to our home is the slow one stopping at all stations… Then the long walk from the station. Feel totally knackered now and work is one cesspool of things going wrong…

Rant over.

However, my ride to work this morning was great, some nice bikes out there, the KTM 950SM did a nice wheelie off the line at our little TLGP on Old Kent Road, but keeping the front down means you get ahead faster! Put a grin on my face though.

I hate pubic transport mate…

I only use aeroplanes because I don’t have a pilots licence or a boat licence otherwise I would do it all myself.

so true!

lol @sleeper!

Sounds like the really evil one is the no show taxi driver…

Couldn’t agree more - only use public transport if absolutely necessary.

I hate public transport so much it got me into motorcycling. True story.

Don’t forget that you get the flu from people that feel the need to share theirs with you… I was good last week, weather was nice, was looking forward this weeked to a nice rideout with the BCR then suddenly I feel like ****… a bit of a headache, sore throat, caugh and dripping nose… how lovely at 20+++ degrees outside:(

Now thats why i’d rather go by pushbike than take the bus…and thats saying somat!:w00t:

Im back to getting the train, bought my 1st monthly ticket since 2006 this morning… Once my knee’s a bit better Im going to stick my mountain bike on the train and ride home a couple of nights a week, if it was a few miles each way I’d just ride full stop but its 20 miles!
