I post this from the waiting room of Feltham tyres another f#cking puncture in my five day old tyre on the edge and the tyre man says no to a repair I’m seriously pissed off but they took pity on me £140. I couldn’t find my bike keys earlier but I kept lookin I should have not bothered and took the car not a happy bunny… contuary to popular belief I am not rich!!

BUT IF ITS ANY CONSULATION TO U WHEN I HAD MY CORSAS FITTED TWO DAYS LATER I HAD A PUNCTURE ON THE WAY TO THE MOT PLACE THEN ON THE WAY OUT FROM THE MOT GOING HOME HAD THE SECOND ONE SO TWO IN ONE DAY AFTER JUST 2 DAYS FROM HAVING IT

I can sympathise with you dude - two days after picking up my first bike a month ago, I also picked up a screw right beside the sidewall… Think I invented some new swear words that day…
if you had small tyres like me flats you wouldnt get a puncture,

However I saw this thing on TV a little while back you can get to go over thet tyres and it stops puntures, I watched a car back over 4 nails and they all just bent and did not go into the wheel could you use that?

Picked one up square in the centre of me 10 day old tyre…at least I could get it fixed but i’m told only once regardless!!

Hard luck mate, why don’t you go for Avons…they give you a free new tyre if you pick up a puncture within the first 500 miles/1mm of tread wear.

I’ve never had one, touch wood. It will be where you’ve been if it is close to a building site etc. They tend to collect at the side of the road and in the middle round traffic islands etc so I try to avoid going ‘off line’ and if I do am very careful to scan for detritus.
Twas a big screw… tyre pressure or area has nothing to with it but as from now i iant running down the middle of the road in all that sh*t just to make up a few spaces at the lights.
