Protect your shoes when riding

Folks,

Bought a bunch of these a few years ago and they got lost in the back of a wardrobe. Only just found them again having moved. I used to use one when I rode and they work a treat.

Tired of scuffing, damaging, or ripping your shoes when you ride?

Don’t want to wear motorcycle boots everytime you ride?

Simply use “Shifter Skinz” to protect your boots/shoes from the grime and grease of the gear shifter.

One size fits all shoes. Skinz are secured using laces and the heavy duty Velcro strap.

Colours available – Blue, Camo, Yellow, Red, Black, Grey, Purple, Green

Kourosh

so your not offering them to lb’ers at a discount then, more of a straight buy me approach, lol:laugh:

wear boots, fool.

We’ve already had a thread discussing this product in the past

if you choose

yep considering…cheers!!

i had this idea and thought of bringing it to dragons den, Invernte already haha :stuck_out_tongue:

This is a very very stupid idea. If you have ever had the misfortune to have had your foot/ankle/leg run over by a car even with armoured boots on you will know this. If not, go ahead and try it, but we would not recommend it.

Nobber.

I have on 2 occasions had my foot run over, and agree with jetstream.

Also what protection do these things offer to my ankles if the bike was to go down for any reason!

I can think of better things to spend £6 on to be honest.

Have to disagree with the haters.

The product is for the protection of (non-motorcycle) footwear, not what is contained within (feet/ ankles etc).
Therefore it is actually quite a good, if a little unnecessary, idea.

I can’t imagine anyone would wear one of these thinking that it would protect them in the event of an accident.

Might get one (or use a sweatband) to protect my loafers - that Husky shifter is creating a shiny spot on the nu-buck!

But the very fact that he has advertised them on here may give impressionable people the idea that it is OK to ride a motorcyle wearing shoes. Which in our opinion is irresponsible.

The fact that they are advertised on here means that mods should remind the poster that advertising on the site requires some kind of advance payment or warning of such action, no?

I agree that the impressionable amongst us might get the idea that it is OK to ride in shoes; I already do, but didn’t need this advert to give me the impression I had the option

Irresponsible as it is to ride without wearing the appropriate protection, the decision is up to the rider.

If I didn’t wear boots, when I broke my leg, I would have lost my foot.
