Recently had my gsx-r 1000 serviced and since then ive had an occasional flat spot when i open up the throttle. I took it back and they said the throttle sensor was faulty and they would have to replace the throttle body kit as a whole. Ive now had this replaced but i now have a warning light lit and F1 flashing on the display. The bike still runs but will cut out occasionally. Has anyone had similar problems and know of any remedies.
What do you have on your bike?
As I guess you are already aware this is a problem with the fuel injection system so basically it has to go back to the dealer. Sounds like they didn’t do the job properly. If they say they are fitting something new a good way of working out if they have actually done what they said they would is putting a small mark or scratch an x on it. If it is still there when you get it back and they’ve charged you for it you can point out they are taking the piss
