Well having had a look at the front page of the Evening Standard, I never knew he was a bike fan. He’s apparently got himself a Blackbird and the Protection Officers are asking that he does a proper Police Advanced Motocycle Course - fair enough I suppose, just being safe.
What a job that would be, protection Officer for the Prince on a decent bike and accompanying him on rides !!
Yes, I have seen him on a Triumph before. Perhaps he learnt about bikes and decided to go Honda, lol
But will he get away with ‘testing the bike to see its capabilities when he gets it…’

That’s the one! I heard that he’s not insured at all by any insurance company but by the Queen’s office or who ever take care of theirs assets. No one would insure him!

As far as I am aware the only member of the royal family who can’t get done for speeding is the queen! Not sure about other offences though.
Surely he has diplomatic imunity? On the insurance front, MCN carried a story some time ago when it came to light he got a Triumph for the road, that nobody would insure the future King of England as any payout for his death would bankrupt them. But there’s an aspect of law that means if you can assure the state that you can pay for any claim brought against you, then you don’t need insurance. I believe the amount they used as an example was £500k. Nothing for him!

just watch out at traffic lights if u pull up next to a blackbird and get kicked off by a bunch of hooligans for being too close
Thing is, if the police are escorting a convoy, its a big no no to go anywhere near, but what happens here? the future king of england pulls up next to you at traffic lights followed by a group of unmarked bikes who act extremely aggresively towards you!
You take down a number plate, report it to police and nothing happens, you never here anything back and take law into your own hands next time you see that blackbird!
its good he can ride round without being hounded, but having body guards follow him on unmarked bikes is a bad idea me thinks…
maybe we should invite him to join us, (everyone keep an eye out for any well spoken newbies with a blackbird)
