i bought it towards the end of november (21st to be exact :D) but i bought it 2nd hand so i didnt get a receipt
what i found out from the lovely people at the 360 helpdesk when i was buying it, was that if someting did go wrong and it was to be sent in for repairs, there would be an initial charge of 60 pounds which would give a 1 year warranty, 1 month free to xbox live, and all shipping fees will be covered.
what Shin did not mention is parts of the 360 have actually got a 3 year warranty, and that is the 3 rings of death…I had this once and they came collected replaced was all good
