Starting issue in my FireBlade the last week or so, so booked it in to Tim. Then the bastard thing wouldn’t start at all, so I had it picked up by Dan (DR Bikes) and taken in a day later than intended. Tim turned it round in a day and a bit, getting the bike back to me nice and fast as I use it for commuting. Excellent service, great diagnostics and really kept me well informed throughout. The bike now starts and runs beautifully! Totally recommended.
Tim is good guy. So what was the problem?
Blocked pilot jets, unbalanced carbs and running a little lean. All sorted now though and runs beautifully. Not bad for 18 years old (the bike, not Tim).
