I’d just like to offer a public thank you to Rusty99 and T.C, who have both given me fantastic and invaluable advice over the past day or two.
Even though it was a bad thing I needed advice on, they were still willing to help out.
I can’t think of any other place I could get advice like this… Other members have also helped me out in the past, I think it’s a great thing how people help each other out on this forum. It’s a real privilege to be part of a community that is full of people willing to help others.

I’d like to say now that I’m happy to offer advice to anyone that needs it in future. I’m quite good with the spanners, not as good as a lot of the guys on here, but I know a bit.
I’m also a technical engineer by trade, I know a fair bit about audio systems and to a certain extent video and data transfer/storage.
