Opened the garage this morning to find a screw in my rear tyre; completely flat. Bought a Crafty Plugger kit a while back for road side repairs, but this is the first time I’ve had to use it. Awesome stuff, took more time to pump the tyre back up than plug it!
I highly recommend getting one of these kits and sticking it under your seat, may well save you a lot of hassle at some point.
I’ve used the Stork Ranger kit to repair at least 6 punctures on the car over the years, never had to use it on the mo’cycle but why not. The first time I used it on the old Cavalier the repair lasted the life of the tyre some 20,000 miles. After a while the sticky worms get less sticky and fail to seal but I found a little dab of rubber solution is a good fix and makes it easier to insert the sticky worm.
