We stopped for petrol at the BP station on Wiggenhall Road and couldn`t start the bike:crying:
Down a road opposite I noticed a few bikes outside a building on an industrial estate so pushed the bike over there.
This was 17.15 on a Saturday.
The guys were putting the bikes away for the weekend. I explained the problem and the proprietor had it going in around about 15 seconds!
Diagnosis a sticking switch on the clutch lever.
When we arrived, he said, “Were closed mate, you wont find a bike shop open at this time of night” then proceded to help.
“That`ll be fifty quid” he joked before offering us a cup of tea and use of his toilet facilities.
He seems to be sort of guy who can fix anything but does have full diagnostic equipment, tyre fitting and a few bikes for sale.
