I’m thinking of changing the colour of my swing arm from standard silver to matt “Silk” black. Would you get it powder coated? or is there another proccess more suited to bikes?
I want it to last and not end up looking like a rat bike

I’ve recently had my wheels, swinging arm and fork sliders powdercoated satin black and look the whole business:cool:
how much did you pay if you mind me asking?
Powder coating is definitely the way, got my swingarm done about 2 years ago and its still looking good. Cost me 70 quid
I know a good bloke down near Shepperton who did my fork leg lowers, bottom yokes and some brackets for the sum of £23 on my project bike. Quality work and look a real treat.
£70…jeez you was robbed m8 !!!
£30 tops for a swinger, £80 for a frame max
I payed £30 or £35 a wheel (can’t remember:hehe:)
Swinger was £30 and fork legs were £30 for the pair
I used Northgate Coatings in Waltham Abbey (M25 J26) I hear Watford Powdercoat are good too:)
