What’s the point - if you can’t avoid them you’re either going too fast to be able to spot them early or you’re following the vehicle in front too closely.

Too right… I tried to paint the WHOLE of the OLD KENT ROAD red, and the computer just said “No!”
The thing that annoys me though is there are some roads that are in really good nick, but get dug up cos some whingy ruddy councillor lives on that road and knows how to get the work done, but other roads that really need investment are just left to crumble…
The Old Kent Road, the bottom side of the one way loop round Australia house that leads onto Waterloo Bridge… its lethal, its a main road, but NO WORK is ever done there… Tottenham Court ROad… its like a damm Motocross Endurance course rather than a road, and its not as if the pencil pushing ar$e b@ndits who manage the budgets don’t use the same roads we do EVERY day, so they KNOW where the problems are… they just DON’T do anyhting about it!
Post them on fixmystreet.com and track the council’s response including constant follow ups on your behalf for action etc. Make sure when reporting you highlight the danger for motorcycle and cycle riders.
