You may have read about the insurance companies proposal to require new bike test passers to complete a post-test course before being eligable to insure one of the top power sports bikes, like big Gixers, R1’s, and the like.I have just completed the new DSA (Driving Standards Agency) recently introduced qualification to be on the Register of Post Test Motorcycle Trainers; this, despite having been giving riders these courses for some time!
I would be interested to hear:-
Has anybody had problems insuring a bike and been asked to complete a Post test course?
Has any other instructors on this site completed this course?
