A12 closed @ Newbury Park this morning, was a suicide apparantly, my mum works in a shop there and someone walked out in front of a lorry :frowning:

I know…it wasnt pleasant as you can imagine :frowning: the man had been pacing up & down the road for ages then chose his moment to step out in the road.

That’ll teach me to jump to conclusions - police, ambulance, someone down in the road and an apparently riderless scooter. No wonder I said the scoot looked OK. Sorry folks.

Jesus. This is the season for those sorts of incidents. People usually do it on the railway though. The scooter rider might have been a witness.

The people that commit suicide dont think of the people who will find them dead or accually kill them, so their kinda selfish in a way, but who knows what problems that person had.

As tragic as it is, that guy’s ordeal is over. The lorry driver’s is just beginning; he’ll have to live with it forever.
