Couldn’t agree more Curtis, it never ceases to amaze me how many people I see doing this without considering what would actually happen if the truck couldn’t actually come to a physical halt, SPLAT comes to mind! 
I’ve driven trucks in the past, only up to 11 tonne, and know only too well how difficult it is to stop one in a limited distance, there were days when I would have loved to have just run into the back of someone and shoved them out the way just to demonstrate the point!

i saw that link stu but that one looked staged cos that would have been a left hooker and he would see it.in the uk anything near the passenger door u cannot see at all and can loose a car easily and the first u know of it is when u hear a bump then b 4 u know it the car is across the front.people think because there r lots of mirrors we can see everything but u cant…so if u r near the passenger door of any truck get the hell away its to dangerouse and dont ever think u have been seen there .good drivers will know u r there but not all r alert at all times so best not take a chance.bikes r better cos u can normally hear them maybee not see them but u tend to stay in lane till u find it.
