Police demonstrations in London

Any of our Jolly Constables involved in today’s demo in London?

I wanna know who “Polices” it?;)

It’s being policed as any other demo would be, although I believe that they have graded it as having a low risk of trouble, although I believe there are rumours of various groups planning to attend to vent their anti police feelings.

Would they arrest each othre if one get`s out of hand and disturbs the peace.

Think there will be enough seats in Bar Italia for the after demo coffe ‘n’ do-nuts?;)

probably… although I’m sure it wouldn’t get to that…

Highly unlikely… Today will be a good day for the capital’s donut sellers…

Shame, I was hoping for a full on riot; tearing up street furniture, throwing it through the windows of Starbucks and McDonalds; finished with an invasion of parliament. Followed by officers serving themselves with public order offences, contravening the 1994 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act. Especially any infringements of sections 63 to 66.

Cheeky chunky monkey,I did’nt make it today, been ripping apart a warehouse in Hackney looking for things.:DHad to be off duty to go and it was stewarded by Police federation people:DSome anti’s did turn up and were dealt with ,so I was reliably informed.:w00t:

Made me laugh this morning seeing all the coaches on the A40, they all had signs on the back window saying

BATTLE BUS

27

WEST MIDS POLICE FEDERATION

The highest number i saw was 38, and i saw at least 20 coaches !!!

I mean if they were all down here, i bet the crims were having a field day :stuck_out_tongue:

No change ther hten

better to take your frustrations out on a Hackney Whorehouse Warehouse than Krispy Kremes in Waterloo;)

The irony behind police officers and donuts … does make me laugh

Approx 22,500 turned up today… biggest peace protest for last 15 years, so the news mand says

pay the people,if the government cant treat them with respect how the hell can they expect the populus to treat them with anything other than disdain…

Well to be fair they were all off duty coppers.

I say pay them what they are owed, as far as I know the independent arbitration council (if that’s what they are called) have already told the government that they should honour the agreement that they originally made with the Police and the bar stewards are still making excuses for not paying what they owe, disgraceful if you ask me, but then successive governments have a habit of preaching the old adage of “do as I say don’t do as I do!”
