Hi everybody!
I need some help. The police caught me at 106 mph. I’m hungarian and I don’t know the law. Is it big trouble? Can I loose my driving licence? What may be consequences?

depends what the limit of road you was riding on but it seems your pretty much fucked
You will probably have to make an appearance in the courts and if found guilty there is a chance youll lose your licence. If you are guilty put your hands up to it unless you dispute some technicality or are not guilty. Wear a suit and apologise sincerely. If this is your first traffic offence you can express its out of character and you have to convince the magistrate you`ll think five times before speeding again. Add to this other mitigating circumstances ie; you need your licence for work? there was no traffic on the road and it was a few seconds of stupidity? or anything else you feel they should consider.
Then they may not ban you but expect several points on the licence and a few hundred quid fine plus costs.

as B said there may be a technicality you can use to help your case.
You know what they do to speeders in this country don’t you… be worried, very worried

…or at least tell them you are, courts are very busy and have little time to chase hard to find foreigners . . . years ago a mate had several years of riding ticket free by just changing his 3 names around every now and then . . . somebody else just got off some other charges by giving the courts details of his new job and life far away in a foreign country, the court sensibly decided it was best to drop the charges as it was silly to make him mess this big chance for him up with unnecessary travelling & court dates . . . and they would not want to make him come all the way back to the uk to do some silly community service or a couple of months in prison now would they. If you lie about this and are caught however, expect a big spanking.

I think the cops may have to give you 10% for innaccuacy of their speed detection equipment. Ask to see the speed calibration certificate - I think the cops have to calibrate their speed detection equipment daily before they can bust you - to prove it is fair and accurate.
Lets say your actual speedometer read 106mph. Subtracting 10.6 mph off that takes you to 95.4mph i.e. this is how much the cops can PROVE you were doing. This is under the 100mph mark - where I believe 100 is instant ban for 6 months or whatever it is.
You should get out of a custodial sentence if this is a first offence. You should also get to avoid an instant ban. However there is also another law I read about where speed limit + 20 is the maximum you can go before getting banned.
95.4 mph is is more than 20mph over the maximum speed limit, which I presume was 70?

well maybe you should of known the law in this country before you decided to ride here, and ‘get caught’ at 106mph!!..
Presumably you knew that 106 was way past legal?
My guess is that if you hold a UK licence they’ll relieve you of it, otherwise probably slap your hands, mumble at your Hungarian Passport and licence and send you on your way.
But that’s a guess and perhaps Porky or Darryl will confirm the likely scenario.

I’m pretty sure 100mph is the limit to when u get banned, I was caught at 97 and got £235 fine and 4 points didnt actually have to appear in court, pleaded guilty with a grovelling letter.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
My guess is £300 fine and 2 week ban.

I would like to say thank you for every help and answer. I read every massage and I worry about my future in here. I work as a LGV driver. If I loose my driving licence I will loose my job. I don’t want to go home. I want to live here and ride in whole country. I never thought I have problem with police. I think, I’m not to be the only who go fast.
