Bit of a legal question for those in the know here.
How long can police bail be extended before charging or can it be indefinite?
It depends really but a reason has always got to be given for re-bail. Any other questions just pm me.

I’ve been bailed and rebailed for ages before, while they were still trying to find evidence.
Of course, there wasn’t any, so I got off with a caution
