There are lots of things which annoy me about riding a bike, but I don’t think I’d be able to whinge about them coherently on the radio

As the bike theft rate is going through the roof maybe we could talk about that:

.Top 5 bike locks and alarms
.Why car thieves are moving from cars to bikes
.Best way to get your bike back if the worst should happen
.How to get the best of of you insurance company if you lose your baby
.What to say and how to contact the police if you think a few guys in a van maybe after your bike but no crime has been committed yet
You could even as one of LB local bobbies on the beat to give some advice

Great idea matey - we did it about a month ago - talk alarms and all that jazz… but perhaps a refresher may be in order - I think that’s another podcast idea though… so we’ll do that next week - will give me time to get some ‘experts’ in.

AJ’s Idea sounds good becasue apart from the normal comments you may get at any bike meet and not always getting their riding gear in there sizes im not sure what other problems they face, educate us AJ

I’ve had quite a few blokes say “are you really going to ride that bike? it’s very big!” - favourite response now is “no, I’m going to push it home, the topbox is just so handy for carrying my shopping”.
This isn’t an idea for today, but what about a podcast about good circular routes for bike runs? E.g. routes with bike friendly cafes on them? Or longer ones with bike friendly B&Bs on them? Dunno if that’s been done already
