Spraying a bike matt black can seem like a good idea but the results can be a bit underwhelming.
Black is a great colour for a bike but it helps if it also has a shine.
I sprayed a Bandit matt black (tank, tail unit, front mud guard) and it just made the bike look dull and depressing.
Cleaning it must be a bugger 
I like it but I wouldn’t have the red tank pad.
That’s what I thought, can’t say I like matt finish on bikes, makes them look dull imo
I always liked Shiver’s SV when it was in primer grey

I’ve seen plastidip up close. It is a matte finish. You can buy a clear coat spray that makes it harder bit petrol ruins this stuff… Also stone chips ruin it. Scuffs easily. Haven’t seen it with the clear coat though.
The clear stuff comes out a bit blotchy/lumpy. I’ve used it to cover slippy phones (the back). Peels off very easy, can’t imagine it will last long on a bike. Odd thing to do.
It looks ok now, wait till its been ridden 50 miles - plastidip peels very easily so it will look shite very very quickly! Idiot!
